Residential renovation and interior design project in Puerto Banus, Spain
We’re delighted to reveal this stunning penthouse renovation project in Puerto Banus, where agus architecture and interiors transformed a beachside residence into a serene and inviting retreat. Just a short walk from the shore, we infused the space with a blend of rustic and Mediterranean influences to perfectly complement its peaceful coastal surroundings. The result is a beautifully warm and open home that harmoniously connects with the art collection and the natural beauty of Puerto Banus.

Flooring and Walls
To enhance the overall warmth of the space, we replaced the flooring with natural wood, from Indusparquet while the walls were painted white. This approach created a clean, neutral canvas that allowed the client’s artwork to take center stage, making it the focal point of the home’s interior.
Space Reconfiguration
One of the standout features of this interior design project in Puerto Banus was the reconfiguration of the layout. By relocating the laundry area to the kitchen, we were able to create an additional bedroom and a new bathroom for the children. This clever use of space maximized functionality without compromising style.
Bathroom Renovations
The bathrooms from Porecelanosa were completely revamped to introduce more light and brightness. We used light-toned, luminous materials that created a fresh, open feel, perfectly aligning with the overall rustic beach aesthetic. This thoughtful renovation enhanced both the functionality and the atmosphere of the space.
Lighting
Solutions
To ensure the client’s artwork was always highlighted, we installed a flexible track lighting system from Gest Protec. This innovative solution allows the client to change the placement of artwork without being restricted by fixed lighting, adding adaptability and ease to the design.
Furniture and Fabrics
We worked closely with the client to select new fabrics for the existing furniture from Portofino Design, breathing new life into old pieces. The refreshed upholstery paired seamlessly with the new wooden flooring, creating a cohesive look that tied together the rustic beach theme.
